Total flexibility
The SDW 5 BS base station allows users to answer all calls from one single device. With triple connectivity for softphone/PC, desk phone and mobile devices*, the base station is a flexible communication hub that works with all SDW 5000 Series headsets and can pair up to 4 SDW 5000 headsets for conferencing.

For hot desking it is also possible to connect a wired Sennheiser headset, speakerphone or a Bluetooth headset using the USB port on the side of the base station when the USB port is not used with a dongle for mobile connectivity. As an IT manager, you can upgrade from dual to triple connectivity to handle flex-working via the BTD 800 dongle enabling connectivity to mobile devices.

Higher productivity
Advanced touch panels on the base station put users in total control of their calls and devices. The base station controls allow for the merging and unmerging of calls, the ability to toggle between calls, mute and unmute and play or pause music - all from one device. It is also possible to transfer calls between headsets. For those using mobile phones, the USB port on the base station can also be used to charge a mobile phone. For IT managers, it is fast to configure and manage using Sennheiser's HeadSetup Pro Manager.
