Much better quality box file than I was expecting at a very good price, would definitely recommend and will be buying alot more!

The box file is smaller than advertised. I have previously had the supposedly identical box files in the 10-pack, and these (at least when I ordered them last time) were the correct size (265mm wide). I assumed that the single boxes were identical, but this is, to my surprise, not true. Despite the specification that might lead you to believe otherwise, the individual box files appear to be smaller than those in the pack of ten.

These individual boxes are stated to be 265mm wide, but are in fact closer to 245mm. This error does not appear to be on the part of Euroffice, as the specs quoted everywhere else, including the manufacturer's website state the same incorrect dimensions(75x265x370).

The internal spring lock breaks easily if flipped too quickly I have six boxes and three have them have broke. If you are bothered about the internal spring maybe worth paying for a slightly more expensive box file.

Practical in the first place and good if you are require temporary storage or will only open the files once in a blue moon. I bought 5 and have had various issues with all of them. On some the spring lock snapped, others the opening/closing clip bends and becomes useless, also the staples that hold the corners together have come out and have come apart.

Excellent, durable box files - I've used the same one daily for 5 years, and it's still in perfect condition.

The old problem paper, shelves, etc are A4; but, box files remain foolscap or (if A4) incredibly expensive. Why can't box files box files catch up with the 20th century and be A4 : then they would fit on contemporary shelves.
