What is executive paper?

Executive paper
Executive paper is the term that we have used to describe all of the paper that we sell that is to be used for special communications,

Executive paper is machine produced to have the effect of hand made paper as it has additional effects/finishes such as watermarks, textures or layered effects and a woven effect that give the paper a level of prestige. For this reason it may be good to use executive paper if you are posting an important letter, writing a C.V or mailing a very important direct mail campaign.

Types/finish of executive paper

There are a number of different types of executive paper that we stock; Most of them are watermarked by the manufacturer to show that they are highly confident in the quality of the paper. All of the finishes are a matter of taste and judgement on the necessary level of form and prestige that needs to be applied to the task at hand. Here is a list of some of the different finishes of executive paper that we have.

Many of these textured finishes, watermarks and wire patterns imitating hand-made laid paper can be produced through using rollers at the end of the machine process.
Contour executive paper
Contour executive paper has a contour lined finish to give the effect of a natural wood paper.

Glossy executive paper
Glossy executive paper is suitable for important brochures, photographs, manual covers, menus and high quality direct mail.

High Laid executive paper - the laid finish has grids of parallel lines.

Laid executive paper - a simple imitation of hand made paper - this may be good for caligraphy or for hand written letters where you need to make an impression.

Smooth executive paper - with a special smooth finish

Wove executive paper - to give the effect that the paper has been hand woven

It would be good to know if the paper is suitable in the laser printer as some are clearly not!
