Plastic pockets

Plastic pockets

Plastic pocketsThe trusty plastic pocket is perfectly designed for keeping loose sheets and documents crisp and protected from spills and harm. These functional plastic folders are widely used in presentations and for keeping documents stored within a binder. Very often described as clear plastic pockets these versatile folders are not only available in Multi Punched, Pocket or Cut Flush styles but also in Expanding and Adhesive designs with CD and Business card storage options .

Multi punched plastic pockets come with a reinforced strip for added strength that allow the pocket to be easily inserted into most binder types, they generally only open at the top end thus providing secure storage and are also good for easy insertion and extraction of documents and materials.
Manufactured in tough Polypropylene, PVC or Nyrex materials all the plastic pockets in this category are built to last. Plastic pockets are mainly bought as A4 Plastic pockets but we do also stock them in other sizes including; A5 plastic pockets, Foolscap, A3 and even some custom sizes.

Rexel cut back foldersTypically, plastic folders are produced in glass clear but now more and more manufacturers are offering a range of funky transparent coloured options. Brand leaders such as Rexel Plastic Pockets who term their products cut back folders and Esselte plastic pockets are producing a great range of both clear and coloured plastic pockets.

I need files which are custom size are there any available which can be cut to size. for instance a legal size file would probably work but I am unable to find any. A little information and guidance to suitable solutions would be helpful, Thank you, JO

I would like cd plastic pockets for clip folders A4 size pks of 100
Angela Wright - 08 February 2010
Hi Angela
I have found the plastic CD wallets in A4 size you are looking for but they come in packs of 5 rather than 100 so you will need to buy 20 packs - although not ideal you get good discounts for bulk buying so they are not actually too much - http://www.euroffice.co.uk/g/5bl/Technology/Computer-Media/CDDVD-Storage/Rexel/,473. Copy this URL into your browser to see the Rexel plastic CD wallets.

I need plastic pockets (with the reinforced punch holes) which are safe to hold valuable archive documents and photos without harming them. Can you advise which of your products would be suitable please. Price is not the issue, safe storage is.
Thank you.
Patrick McCormick - 15 March 2010
Hi Patrick
After some research by our filing guy the best product for your needs seems to be the Rexel Premium Pockets (code: 008772)These have a flap with a button fastener and are good quality and will keep your documents safe. Just put the product code into the search bar at the top of the page and you will find what you need.BTW - these are currently on special offer until the end of March at £14.99 for 100.
Another recommendation that has a fold under flap rather than a button flap is the Elba expanding pocket file which are great quality but more expensive - at time of writing they were £14.69 for 10.
I hope that this information is useful.
Kind regards
Joel

I'm collecting Panini stcikers, instead of sticking them into the book I'd like to use plastic pockets. Are there any particular products you can recommend? The stickers are 6.5cm x 5cm.
Jimmy - 09 June 2010
Hi Jimmy
In an a4 size plastic pocket you will be able to fit 16 Panini cards and A3 size plastic pockets will hold 32 cards. If you opt for our Foolscap size plastic pockets then you will be able to fit 20 cards in. Alternatively you could use a business card album - http://www.euroffice.co.uk/i/xjb1/Concord-CD4-Business-Card-Book-PVC-with-A-Z-Index-for-112-Cards-292x159mm-Black-Ref-82010 as that will give you a nicer way to present the cards than the simple Panini book.

Hi, I am looking for some plastic pockets or pouches which can be stuck into the inside cover of a ring binder. They need to be a suitable size that a 6" scale rule will fit into snugly. Any ideas?

I am looking for plastic pockets suitable to store documents that are sized 13 x 8 inch. The current A3 size is too short. Can you help?
Rod - 18 October 2010
Hi Rod,

Try foolscap plastic pockets, specifically the Leitz Premium Everyday Pocket Polypropylene Top-opening Foolscap Clear; Product Code: 819943, the OUTER pack dimensions of this are 266x369x55mm (10.47" x 14.52") so should accomodate your foolscap documents. Or, you can go for larger A3 plastic pockets which have dimensions 16 ½ x 11 ¾ ins (double A4size). Here is a selection of A3 plastic pockets: http://www.euroffice.co.uk/g/t2l/Office-Supplies/Filing-and-Archive/Plastic-Pockets/A3/,mg4?term=plastic+pockets

Hello what is the significance of the micron number associated with plastic pockets. I want clear glass pockets that only open at the top and are a tight fit to the a4 paper.do you sell these in packs of 100.
regards joel
joel - 24 February 2011
Hi Joel

Thanks for your question. The micron is a unit of measurement. In this case, the thickness of the plastic.

Looking for foolscap folio (216 x 343 mm) or US Letter (216 x 356 mm) size card holders or plastic wallets, which open on one of the long edges only... Niceday used to sell these and called them 'card holders', but they are no longer available... they are for use with foolscap suspension files, for storing bundles of A4 documents (A4 card holders/wallets do not hold enough pages, so are too small for us)... any ideas please?
Gareth Baker - 07 June 2011
Do you have any A4 polypockets that fit US sized paper. The width of UK A4 sized polypockets are just a tad too small which causes the paper to roll up. Thanks Diane
