Label makers have a few different uses but by far the most common is to use them for printing address labels. On all label writers you can print from your PC to the machine. You simply attach the label writer to your PC using a USB cable and then on the PC use MSWord or you can use the plug ins for a range of other programmes including; Excel, Outlook, Corex Cardscan, Palm Desktop, Act and Goldmine.
Just identify the labels that you want to print, allocate the label maker in the printer directory on your PC, hit print and they will stream out.
Some of the label writers that we sell rely on this interaction with a PC as they do not have a keyboard; an example of this is our most popular label maker - the Dymo label writer 400.

This label maker only prints in black and white and only from a PC but it is our best selling label maker so obviously does a good job. It is fast and effective as an address label printer.
We also sell label makers that have their own keyboard so that you can hand type labels as you go.

These are great if you need to be walking around a warehouse/factory floor and printing labels as you go. A good example of one of these label makers is the Dymo Labelpoint 250 label maker.
