What are filing labels?

Filing labels
These are the adhesive labels for box files, binder labels and suspension file labels. These sticky labels are available in different shapes and sizes to provide a solution to categorising your folders. We stock a wide range of filing labels with anything between 1 label per sheet up to 51 labels per sheet.

When you place the label sheet through your printer, the software you get for your PC will allow you to print whatever text you want to put on each individual label. This allows you to avoid repetitive writing and minimal involvement to produce many labels via the printer.

You can print anything on to the labels we have available. From basic text to company logos, professional personalisation can be achieved with these filing kits.

The main purpose of these labels is to provide a quick and easy way to create labels via your PC, print them out using the software and get them stuck on to your folders and files! They can easily be replaced and the packs usually contain quite a bit, so all those files that are lying about can now get a name.

Sorting out a lot of files at a time can be a pain, especially when the labels are not clear or there are no labels at all. With labels that are printed opposed to ones that are written out, you will get a clear and professional finish. This is certainly a filing solution that will allow you, the user, to access files with ease and more clarity for you filing systems.

Types of filing labels

Lever arch file labels

Sticky spine labels are good for Lever Arch file labels and Ring Binder Filing Labels, especially for those types of files that need to be permanently marked. For example, if you have yearly records that need to be organise and they are going to be filed in storage for a while, the sticky feature is made to be reliable to last in any storage condition. That doesn’t include those of you that decide to store your Lever Arch Folders under water.

Elasticated Folder Labels

Labels made for the board base and plastic folders. You may find that you need a thinner label to fit the spine and base of the trickier surface. These labels are usually placed on the front cover or the side of the folder depending on your preference.

Box File Labels

Box file labels are usually interchangeable with Ring Binder labels. The size of labels you want to use on your typical box file is completely up to you. Most filing labels can be applied to box files. If you know what you want to put on the labels or how discreet you would like the label to be, the you can chose from our selection of box file labels to get the job done.

Suspension File Labels

Suspension file labels
If you have suspension files then you know that it can be frustrating if they are not properly and clearly labelled. Sticky tabs allow you to print whenever you want and categorise these files. No more trying to hand-write as small as possible and ruining the label in the process. With a Dymo Label writer you can print out small clear text and use these labels on your suspension files and anything else that you feel suit.
