The Copy Holder was originally a fitting attached to a type writer which enabled the paper to stay upright while being fed into the typewriter. Copy Holders are now found as attachments to computers and most commonly are used as a standalone platform for holding paper and documents upright.
Some copy holders can also be fitted to the side of a computer screen’s monitor.
Copy holders can support a few pages or a whole booklet and some independent standing holders also have adjustable height and angle. Apart from the adjustable height, some also have added accessories such as rulers and guides that appear over the front page.
