Large format printers are for use in printing posters, large diagrams, maps and basically anything that you want to print that is above standard A3 size.
Large format printers are usually not general machines and are specialised for different tasks. If you are an ad agency, a retailer or a school then you may need a large format printer that has a high resolution as you will be focusing on colour.
On the other hand if you are an engineering firm or an architects then you may want to go for a monochrome LED large format printer as they are much faster for printing out large volume jobs
Which size printer do I need? Our range of large format printers includes printers from 24 inches to 60 inches in width, obviously you need to consider what you will be using the printer for and purchase the correct size for your needs. As a rule of thumb the larger the printer the more expensive it will be. Just consider the amount that you print and whether or not it will be more cost effective to use an external printing firm or to buy your own machine.
