Presentation Folders, also known as Report Folders are ideal for making your documents presentable and more memorable. Most folders have a clear plastic cover, enabling a custom title page, and a sturdier coloured back usually made of either PVC or Polypropylene. They generally are made for storing and presenting un-punched documents so have a sturdy sprung clip. The coloured backs make personalisation much easier.
Assorted coloured packs of folders are available so that documents and reports can be colour coded for ease of filing and retrieval.
Presentation folders are available in various capacity sizes. The lower capacity folders which would hold up to 10 sheets of paper would obviously be perfect for smaller documents such as contracts, estimates, proposals and quotations or even for CVs if you wanted to stand out from the crowd.
For larger A4 reports and presentations some of our large capacity presentation folders hold up to and over 250 sheets of paper so would be more appropriate than the smaller capacity folders.
The most common capacity sizes are the 25 sheet folders and the 30 sheet presentation folders which are good for holding smaller presentations and sales materials.
Many of our Presentation Folders have pockets for Business Cards and sleeves for CDs, again ideal for personalisation and including extra information. Just check the product description for this information if it is an important feature for you.
Some A4 presentation folders would require paper to be punched with a standard 2-hole punch and some have extra width so that you can use punched pockets. Again, the products description should guide you to whether or not the sheets need to be hole punched or not.
Choosing a brand should not be too difficult here as the products are all differentiated by the type of clips they have; The Durable Duraquick products have slide on clips which are quick and simple to use but cannot cope with large quantities of paper. Durable also have a range of other presentation folders that have different opening mechanisms such as the fold back metal clips - which are specifically for use with hole punched paper or with punched pockets.
The Rexel Report files hold about 30 sheets of paper, they have clear fronts and also internal pockets for business cards and the clip is a metal fold down clip. They also supply a budget version of this product that is made of a cheaper plastic material and is no quite so sturdy but still fit for purpose. The Rexel Nyrex project files are premium products (because of the Nyrex) which are easy wipe clean with a semi rigid front cover, a flat bar metal closing mechanism and a ticket window for easy personalisation.
