A Folder is somewhat of a generic term used to describe a product that essentially holds loose sheets of paper together for organisational and protection purposes. There are, however, a variety of different folders for you to choose from, here are some short descriptions of the main types.
Square cut folders, typically made from either hard wearing Manilla (often recycled) or Polypropylene, these folders are used generally in conjunction with a filing cabinet to store all those important documents. We have a good range of A4 square cut folders and Foolscap square cut folders sizes - you do not usually find square cut folders in any other size. Flat Bar Folders offer an extremely quick and easy method of storing loose two hole punched papers, the flat bar mechanism operates with two sliding compressed bars that secure the paper contents safely to the base, be careful not to get your fingers caught during operation! These exceptional products are great for transporting documents and are available in various sizes dependent on how many sheets you need to file, again too many bright garish colours to mention.
Cut Flush Folders are generally made from a transparent or opaque Polypropylene/Nyrex material and offer the contents safe refuge from spills, dirt and moisture. Open on two sides with a thumb hole affording easy access to any file content. Cut flush means that there is no overlap between the 2 sides of the folder.
Cut Back Folders again only open on two sides, these pocket folders have a slightly cut back design on one side (as the title would suggest) allowing the user easy and quick access to the contents whilst offering extreme protection from any serious hazards that the office might have to offer.
Elasticated Folders are built with a hard pressboard and are available in both A4 elasticated folder and Foolscap elasticated folder sizes. These folders have an easy to use but powerful elastic securing strap design where the 2 straps pull in to hold the file securely closed and are obviously also easy to open. The europa elasticated folders come with three crossover flaps inside that expand to 30mm to create a box file.
