As football is on everyone's minds today, let me borrow a popular metaphor and say that yesterday's Emergency Budget is a game of two halves – of cutting costs and raising revenue.
So the CCC (my acronym for the Cameron Clegg Coalition) have set out their budgetary stall. We knew what to expect and small business organisations seem pleased with the Queen's Speech. But the CCC have studiously avoided the awkward question of VAT.
Well, at least the political deadlock is over and the CCC (Cameron Clegg Coalition) have announced their policies. They're going to be pre-occupied with the monster issues of banking reform and budget deficit, but does this spell the end of the nightmare for SMEs?
You know how you shout at the TV when a quiz contestant is about to choose the wrong answer and lose thousands? It's the same with business reality TV shows, where a trouble-shooter comes along  to sort out a struggling company. I can tell what's wrong, but the participants can't see it.

About Us

Euroffice is an award-winning office supplies company, founded in 1999. Like many of our customers' companies, we're a small business, so we understand the needs of SMEs. In fact we sell more office products online to small business than anyone else. We pride ourselves on our price promise, free delivery and returns policies but, most important of all, we really love every single one of the 27,000 items we sell.
