During a sales demonstration at a woodworking trade show, the presenter showed the crowd how both an ordinary saw and one with a saw stopping safety device might work when it hit an operator's finger.  To simulate a finger, he used a sausage.  Intrigued, a curious spectator stepped up for a closer look, only to be struck in the eye by a flying piece of debris.

Hooray! It's snowing! The white stuff hides all the grime and makes everything magical. As a child, I loved it when it snowed in London and, as an adult who's fortunate enough to have a garden, I love it too. Their latest quarterly Business Confidence Monitor shows confidence rising for the third successive quarter: it is now +24.6, up from +4.8 in the third quarter and a significant reversal of the -36.3 of a year ago.
