Many commuters will find their train season tickets will have gone up in price next year – what are you doing to prepare?

Once you've read that article, head over to Money Saving Expert for other tips. For instance, they talk about 'splitting tickets', which is where it works out cheaper to buy separate tickets for each section of your journey, rather than an all encompassing season ticket.

If virgin rail services had increased inline with euroffice, we would all be saving a fortune every week. Never thought I'd say this but virgin rail must be the only company that makes me miss the days of British Rail !!!
