Has this week seemed especially dark and dreadful to you?  There’s a psychological explanation for that….

This past Monday – the 25th of January – was “Blue Monday”, the day of the month when the post-Christmas doom and gloom is at its peak.  I’m not making this up.  In fact, there’s a very precise formula in place to figure this.  Take the time since Christmas, add the January weather and the debt you accumulated during the holidays, throw in some feelings of failure due to those New Year’s resolutions not turning out as planned, low motivational levels in general and that sinking feeling of needing to take action and VOILA!  You’ve got yourself a Blue Monday.

Personally, I didn’t find Monday to be too blue and this week has been one of the better ones this month (despite the return of the cold temperatures).

Now that the working world is back in full swing post-Christmas, how’s the mood around your office?

Euroffice is an award-winning office supplies company, founded in 1999. Like many of our customers' companies, we're a small business, so we understand the needs of SMEs. In fact we sell more office products online to small business than anyone else. We pride ourselves on our price promise, free delivery and returns policies but, most important of all, we really love every single one of the 27,000 items we sell.
