As my time here at Euroffice comes to an end and I embark on a new career path I have been thinking about certain things that I will miss. Especially as I am going sailing I will not have access or even a need for the products and items I have come to rely on here in the office.

Post It Z notesLike my Znotes!! These little squares of joy have become very important to me and I always have a secret stash of them. I know I am not the only person in the office to feel the love for these, I know this because in the past I have been bribed for them not to mention the ones that have been un-mercifully stolen from me. I have on many occasion had to rethink my hiding place – the most current being under my documents in my bottom letter tray (I can reveal this as I am leaving – and I have now given my znotes away to someone I think appreciates them as much as me).

http://www.euroffice.co.uk/g/61l/Office-Supplies/Desktop-Stationery/Sticky-Notes/?term=z+notes+dispenserBut what are znotes without the Z notes dispenser, obviously the Znotes were designed to go into a dispenser and I for one think this is genius!!! If there was a need for Znotes or even the more simple Post it notes on a sailing yacht then I would be stocking up but alas I have been advised by my captain that these really are not a necessity when sailing around the Caribbean (yes I did just drop that in there).

So it’s not only my beloved Znotes and dispenser I say goodbye to but it’s also my letter trays, two drawer filing cabinet – we were so good together and of course my chair, another item that I have had to hang onto with dear life with its ergonomically designed back and height adjustable seat.

I have a vision of my desk the day after I vacate it, the poor thing having been stripped dry of all products and my drawers being emptied, the chair being stolen and the desk itself being taken over by my replacement.

This is my little dedication to office supplies and the happiness they bring, most of the time without you even realising it. So look around your desk and see what you have taken for granted, the small items that you use everyday which without you would be lost.

It may be your stapler or your ruler, your favourite document wallets or plastic pockets. They may not even be something you only use in the office; your favourite pen, the diary you use or the notepads you’ve come to rely on. They make your working and personal life much easier and I say stock up and enjoy!!

Goodbye Znotes, goodbye Chair and goodbye Bic Atlantis pen!!!

But most of all Goodbye Office Chatter and goodbye Euroffice.

Definitely agree with the ingenious z-notes, since Sarina was the one to get me hooked on it in the first place. Every little thing is jotted on there, even my little doodles! We are in the digital age where the PC has taken over in most areas, but I personally think the post it notes will be there for a while, where you are able to put things down with speed and ease. The post it note they have made for the PC desktop is note the same it lacks the freedom of how you jot down your information.
