We sang – or rather wrote – the praises of Black n' Red diaries a few weeks ago and, because we're doing a 'buy one pack, get one pack half price' on Black n' Red notebooks, I've been pootling around the Internet seeing if anyone had come up with interesting uses for them. (My office notebook is used for jotting down appointments and ideas, but there may be Black n' Red notebooks out there used by artists, musicians or astronauts.)
Anyway, I visited YouTube to see what people had been up to, typed in 'Black n' Red notebook' and found a video of a young girl talking about something called a 'collective haul'.
Now, it turns out that a 'collective haul' is a video in which, only women it seems, talk about the things they've bought recently, perhaps over the course of a week. Then you have a 'mini haul' which is supposedly the term for going to a shop and just buying a few things. As a man, all this is baffling to me. The only time I buy multiple things when out shopping is if I'm buying food.
Anyway, the young girl in the video (she looked about 13 or 14), seemed to be really into stationery and office supplies; perhaps even more so than some of the people in our office!
She started off, quite naturally, with make-up, but moved on to other items, like a set of storage drawers. She raved about her wirebound Black n' Red notebook, and said 'The quality is amazing', then moved onto her black and blue Pilot Frixion pens (which cost her a whopping £3.99 for one, at a well-known high-street stationers) and finally a black Uniball Jetstream pen.
It's nice to see someone who loves office products so much. What would be nicer is if some of you lovely people out there told us about your Euroffice hauls. If you could do a YouTube video, that would be great – we'll get it online – but if not, just write in about some of the lovely stuff you ordered from us and why you liked it.
Perhaps you could start with our Black n' Red notebook 'buy one pack, get one pack for half price' offer!
