A company in America has made envelopes that, when you lick them to seal them, taste like bacon. They even look like bacon, too.

Now, all this is great if you want to send someone a quirky letter – perfect for creative agencies or butchers – but I'm not sure how well it would work for most companies. (Can you imagine getting bacon letters from your accountant?)

Also, what would happen to office productivity with these things around? Would people spend all day at their desks licking envelopes, even if they've got nothing to post, unable to answer the phone because of dry mouths?

These kinds of risks need to be considered. And Lord help us if they come up with lettuce flavoured paper and tomato stamps.

We pride ourselves on our price promise, free delivery and returns policies but, most important of all, we really love every single one of the 27,000 items we sell.
